A Syrian physician and seasoned entrepreneur with over three decades of experience across the United States and the Middle East. My work bridges clinical medicine, innovation, and strategic healthcare development. I have built and led successful medical institutions, redefining healthcare standards across the region. Today, I am investing in Syria, leveraging my global experience to foster growth and renewal in my beloved homeland.

Dr. Al-Sawaf has an impressive track record in founding and managing successful companies across the region, including Novomed, one of the largest private medical networks in the UAE, and Vitatech, specializing in medical equipment in the Gulf. He has also launched innovative startups in Syria, foremost among them Syrex, which aims to attract and facilitate investment in the country. In addition to his business endeavors, Dr. Al-Sawaf has established leading social institutions such as the Mafazah Foundation to support Syrian talent and the Ribat Al-Amal Foundation to care for orphans and families in need. Through Syrex, he leverages his extensive entrepreneurial expertise to lead initiatives that contribute to building a sustainable economy and fostering a business climate that creates real value for individuals and society.
